Matthew Brown - Google Authorization when submitting assignments in Canvas

When Matthew tried to submit assignments in Canvas that are LTI assignments, Canvas wanted him to authorize. When authorizing, his mother's personal email continued to appear. STC removed her email and added Matthew's. Did not resolve. STC powerwashed the device and also reset Google to factory settings. Admin spoke to mother about adding accounts to the device. STC and staff thought it was resolved. Matthew came down today 9/18/20 and still had the issue. STC cleared all data. Restarted device and had a large screen on any device he was signed into. STC called DSC and she signed in as him. We reset to factory settings again and normal screen appeared.

DSC ignored the authorization button and chose next. Chose Google LTI option to find assignment. STC chose a random assignment from there and submitted an assignment that is due today in World Geog. We think if student ignores the Authorization button, this will work. This issue so far has only caused problems in English 7 and World Geography.

Mr. Barker confirmed in an email using the instructions given, allowed the student to submit assignments that are Google LTI assignments.

Chris is going to test this today in class. He could not open the assignment that was submitted. But I submitted it, not Matthew. We are still trying. Not sure why his mother's email keeps coming up either. But we at least hope we have a work around for this issue.
